Your main mission as Quality Product Safety Assurance will be responsible for deciding all necessary actions, in case of quality incidents, with affected vehicles in the field, prioritizing customer safety, taking into account also technical, economic and legal aspects. You will also be responsible for vehicle “recalls” (asking customers to bring their vehicles to the dealership for upgrades/repairs) to ensure safety and quality throughout the life of the vehicles. You will also be responsible for reporting serious and/or customer safety incidents and actions to the company.

The challenges you will face:

• Steering Product Safety Assurance Circle (PSAC).
• Conducting problems resolution to the right department in the company.
• Reporting about safety incidences and recalls (actions into customer vehicles) to company VIP´s and CEO´s.
• Taking decisions for actions in vehicles focused on safety and also taking into consideration technical, economic and legal aspects.
• Ensuring introduction of all necessary activities in customer vehicles to assure safety during whole life of vehicles.
• Manage customer complaints and coordinate the corresponding responses, especially for those affecting product safety.
• Collect and Manage customer complaints and coordinate the corresponding responses also tracking issues to closure.
• Collect feedback (Database) on local adaptation needs in the European market and communicate this to relevant central departments, steering improvements inside the Brand.
• Assure Lessons Learned process return to different areas into the Brand to avoid same problems/incidences in new products.
• Establish and maintain relationships with dealers (technical assistance; aftersales) and other interested parties to assure the customer vehicles quality.

What will make you successful in this project?

• Bachelor's/Master's degree in Science or Engineering, preferably experience in quality management.
• 3+ years' experience in similar roles
• Experience in vehicle safety issues.
• Familiar with basic quality management tools and methods such as DFMEA, MSA, SPC, APQP
• Ability to lead and motivate teams in continuous quality improvement
• Knowledge of quality tools and techniques such as Statistical Process Control (SPC), Root Cause Analysis, 5 Whys, 8D.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
• High level of integrity and professional ethics.
• High level of English. Having a medium-high level in other languages will be a plus
